By now, we all know better than underestimating the power of social media. Using social media is a great way to spread positivity to the community. It helps inform people that there are still good things that happen in our local community and the world.
In Wayne County Humane Society, shelter worker Joe Kay is spreading love and awareness to his local community and the world. As the adoption coordinator for the animal shelter, he is in charge of taking calls from people who want to adopt a specific dog they have at the shelter.
Whenever Joe gets a call from a potential adopter, he records the moment when he places the on-hold label on a dog’s kennel that’s getting adopted. When he comes near the kennel to inform the dog that they are getting adopted, they get so excited and have some of the most heartwarming reactions.
Joe also records the moment when the new family comes to pick up their dogs. We can clearly see how excited the dogs get when they finally get out of their kennel. Their tails wouldn’t stop wagging, and they are so thankful that they’re finally going to their forever homes.
Joe’s videos became viral ever since he started posting them on a popular social media platform. It also encouraged so many people to adopt dogs from animal shelters all over the world. Joe didn’t really expect his videos to inspire so many people. However, he’s glad that he’s spreading so much positivity in the world and that his simple videos encourage others to save homeless dogs and give them a chance to become a part of a loving family.
After watching Joe’s videos, you’ll be convinced that the dogs know what’s going on. They know that the orange cards mean that they’re finally getting adopted. Here’s a video featuring some of Joe’s heartwarming adoption videos.
